Uñas Escondidas is an emerging indie folk trio, based in Montréal, fronted by Honduran singer-songwriter Daniela Rivera-Servellón, accompanied by bassist and producer Eeva Chevalier, and by Rebecca Field on drums.
The band plays an energetic banjo driven sound, willingly dancy, sparkled with dreamy and cinematic incursions. With rhythms inspired in traditional Latin-American music and 2000’s emo, Uñas Escondidas offers a folk character endowed with a modern intensity.
Their debut self-titled album was released in September 2022, followed by a live album released in 2024, available on all streaming platforms. Their next E.P. “Venues Escorpión” is currently cooking up, tentatively scheduled for release in January 2026.
A bold and ambitious bunch, they are devoted to their craft, and industriously working to bring forth their artistic vision.
